六、作文范文

It is universally acknowledged that making friends is not tough. However, the continuous efforts are what it takes to maintain the ever-lasting friendship.

Never will I forget there was a time when I had trouble with my friend Li Hua. One day, he invited me to a concert. Having promised to help a classmate with his Math, I had to refuse his invitation. Disappointed and frustrated, he refused to talk to me for a whole week. Realizing ever-lasting friendship called for continuous efforts, I started to mend my friendship with him. Firstly, I sent him a card, making an apology to him. Then, I had a face-to-face talk with him to express that his friendship meant a lot to me. Happily, the misunderstanding disappeared and we regained our friendship. 

Undoubtedly, great friendship is a treasure and only by cherishing and constantly maintaining it can it last forever.
