第二节 读写任务（共1题，满分25分）
阅读下面材料，然后按要求写一篇150词左右的英语短文。
In China, people who refuse to allow their houses to be pulled down by developers(开发商) are called “nail households”(钉子户). A number of them have attracted widespread attention in the press. In one famous case in Chongqing in 2007, a family later nicknamed “the coolest nail household”, refused to move out of their house that they had lived for three generations. Though developers cut their power and water, and dug a 10-metre deep pit around the house, the owner still lived in it. When a local court ruled that the house should be knocked down, the angry owner flew a national flag on the top of his house with a slogan of “the government respects and preserves human rights”. 85% net users surveyed on Sina.com at that time supported the family rather than the developers. Experts believed the conflict between the two parties reflected a growing dissatisfaction among common people.
Finally “the coolest nail household” reached an agreement with the developers after two years’ negotiation(协商). However, the problem hasn’t been done yet with lots of other incidents of “nail households” exposed to the public, and the discussion still goes on.
